Yet another Oxegen completed for Bui Bolg, now featured in its third year at Europes Favourite Music Festival, with 1st contact being our Supersized Rock Guitar at the drop off point for all revellers a sign of the ever impressive presence of Bui Bolg. Next our signature Stone Henge style entrance now a regular feature of the event, and to help all those attending find their way around the site our outrageously impressive site markers. Did you spot the Pac-Man, Skull or the Rubik Cube? New additions this year included our Giant Inflatable Man and our Los Vegas style entrance sign “Welcome to Oxegen”. Bui Bolg on BBC World News!

23 April 2010

BBC World Service are doing a documentary on Festivals around the world and of Course Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Festival was selected. St. Patrick’s Festival selected Bui Bolg’s very own Eddie Milbourne  to narrate the program. So jigs and reels Bui Bolg had the great honour of being documented  by the BBC  World in the always exciting ( terrifying and dramatic) run up to Paddy’s Day!

The program features the workshop, rehearsals, staff meetings (Yikes!) and the Bui Bolg Youth Group, as well as some beautiful shots of Wexford.. . .And the St. Patrick’s Parade of course!

Bui Bolg were extremely proud to be involved in the program!

MII South East Marketing Awards 2010

30 March 2010

Bui Bolg had a great night in Mount Juliet on the 6th of March for  the MII South East Marketing Awards. A huge thanks to Paula Ronan @ Angel Marketing for her hand in organising the event!

The food was delicious (who had two deserts? - not us! *shifty eyes*) and it was great to meet so many interesting business people from the the sunny southeast!  Unfortunately we didn’t win but it was a great honour to be shortlisted - especially as this was the first year of our website! Thanks again  to the awe inspiring Gianni Ponzi of Eireann Design for his patience, skill and never ending advice in creating and maintaining our website.

Congrats to the winner Theatre Royal in Waterford and to our friends in Kitchen Index who were also nominated in the category of Web Excellence.

We’ll be back next year!
