Chanti Hobbit is very well known in the sector of circus performance. Having attended Rogelio Rivel circus school in Barcelona, she regularly works with companies such as Invisible Circus, Arcadia Spectacular and Juggling Inferno.

After two weeks of intense workshops the group will showcase their newly acquired skills on the green beside the Wexford Arts Centre next Friday 13th at 4pm – why not come along to this interactive session and see what a little Hobbit, with big dreams, can teach you!!

Wicklow’s Historic Gaol is set to hit Irish and international headlines this Easter with the help of Bui Bolg as they portray the story of a young woman transported to Van Diemen’s land for alleged infanticide in the 18th Century.  Eliza Davis was one of thousands of female prisoners who were transported to Australia in the 18th and 19th centuries, many for crimes as petty as stealing a sheep. Bui Bolg have made a very impressive giant statue of the infamous Eliza which can now be seen perching on top of the historic building to mark this event, so come along and check out our handy work and follow this amazing story for yourselves! 2012 is off to a flying start…Temple Bar Tradfest went down a treat – even the puddles couldn’t keep the crowds away and its all hands of deck for Paddys Day which is looking to be our best one yet! We are also cooking up lots of new projects and partnerships across the EU and further afield…so watch this space…for the mighty Bui Bolg explosion!!!

So we set out to the exotic location of Dublin, bringing with us our jumping prawns, waving lampposts and spectacular salmon float and hot-air balloon, all moving to the intoxicating rhythm of Indian music. Bui Bolg created a colourful and energetic atmosphere and the main actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were entranced dancing along with our creations.

After a long day the whole crew were thrilled, to be a part of this phenomenal Indian blockbuster and is looking forward to its release.
